Agriculture Law & Agribusiness
Christopher G. Jenkins
Chris Jenkins practices law in the areas of agriculture law and agribusiness, business and corporate law, litigation, finance and banking, general counsel services, real estate, environmental law and land use, and estate and probate litigation.
Raised in rural southern Minnesota by a farmer and a schoolteacher, Chris appreciates the work farmers and rural businesses perform to provide for themselves and the country at large.
With an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurial Studies, Chris understands the needs of businesses small and large and how to acquire the means, knowledge, and skills necessary to build a solid foundation on which to successfully grow and maintain a business in a rural area. Chris pursued a career in law because he is passionate about providing strong advocacy for those in need of navigating the legal process. Throughout his legal education, Chris developed strong writing and oral advocacy techniques, sound leadership ability, and communication adeptness.
Chris focused his law school career in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution, acquiring a concentration in both, thereby providing him with valuable insight into the legal process. With a rural background, education in business entrepreneurship, and Juris Doctor concentrations, Chris is equipped with the skills to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and successfully advocate for clients.
In his spare time, Chris is an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing for pretty much anything there is a license for. He also is a fervent baseball lover, either watching the Minnesota Twins or reading up on his baseball history. Chris also enjoys time spent as a movie buff, reading mystery/thriller novels, and attending live music concerts.
